Starting and ending at the iconic Philadelphia Museum of Art, this race takes you through the most historic and scenic neighborhoods in America.

About the Race
The Philadelphia Marathon Weekend offers a unique and unforgettable running experience nestled within the vibrant urban landscape and historic beauty of Philadelphia. Renowned for its “mellow weather” and flat course, the race is a favorite for both seasoned athletes seeking a PR and beginners looking for an inspiring atmosphere.
You will weave through the well-traveled streets of the historic district, passing sights familiar to the Founding Fathers, before heading out into the scenic Fairmount Park and along the banks of the Schuylkill River. The journey concludes with a triumphant sprint toward the “Rocky Steps” at the majestic Philadelphia Museum of Art.
