Be a part of this magical Abbot World Major Marathon as a member of the Project Purple team! The premier event of New York Road Runners (NYRR) and the largest marathon in the world starts on Staten Island at the foot of the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge and runs through the neighborhoods of Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx before ending in Manhattan. This incredible team raised over $725,000 in support of pancreatic cancer research and patient financial aid in 2025 and we want to make an even bigger impact in 2026 – all while providing you the opportunity to experience the crowds at the most popular marathon in the world.
