Detroit Marathon & Half Marathon – Project Purple Team
Accomplish your goal of crossing the finish line with the Project Purple team in the 2024 Detroit Marathon.
The Detroit Free Press Marathon is the largest race in Michigan. The marathon course is international (running over the Canada/US border) and has featured the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel for all but two years of its existence. Due to its use of the tunnel, the race can boast that it has the only official underwater international mile in the world, as the tunnel runs underneath the Detroit River. The race is a USATF-certified, Boston-qualifier course and we want YOU to run it for a world without pancreatic cancer with Project Purple!
