Join the party! Be part of the Project Purple team at the 2027 Flying Pig Marathon Weekend in Cincinnati, Ohio. With multiple events to choose from, including the marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, relay, and more (see below), there’s a perfect distance for every runner or walker. By racing with Project Purple, you’ll be chasing your own goals while helping to fund research and patient support in the fight against pancreatic cancer. All experience levels are welcome to join.

The Flying Pig Marathon Weekend is a Cincinnati tradition, known for its upbeat energy, creative themes, and unforgettable crowd support. From the picturesque stretches along the Ohio River to the rolling hills and historic neighborhoods, the courses offer both beauty and challenge. Over three days, the city transforms into a festival of running, with events that bring together athletes, families, and supporters from across the country. Whether you’re aiming for a personal record or simply soaking in the atmosphere, the Flying Pig delivers an experience you’ll carry long after race day.

  • PigAbilities (1 mi / 1.61 km): An inclusive run designed for adaptive athletes

  • Flying Pig Marathon (26.2 mi / 42.2 km): The full-distance classic through Cincinnati and beyond

Fundraising Requirement: $1,000 minimum for all distances
