His healthy and active lifestyle came to a halt when he discovered the tightness he had been feeling for some time turned out to be pancreatic cancer.

Dan’s journey began at the height of the pandemic which made it difficult to seek medical professionals about the symptoms he was experiencing; This made it difficult to come to a diagnosis, as did his young age. Dan underwent an extreme and experimental surgery that left him with life-long pain and restrictions. Dan beat the odds in all aspects of his journey, he even recently got married!
