Watch: 10-year Pancreatic Cancer Survivor Kasey Grimaldi Gives Back With Her Survivorship Celebration

Kasey Grimaldi is a 10-year pancreatic cancer survivor with a wonderfully positive outlook. As she approached her 10-year survivorship milestone, she and her loved ones decided to throw a big party with raffles, live music, and tons of fun to give back to those who are still fighting this disease.

The Grimaldis decided to use the event as a fundraiser for Project Purple and we are so thankful they did. Their generosity raised over $50,000 for our patient financial aid program which directly assists patients who are fighting pancreatic cancer to afford their cost of living expenses.

To learn more about Kasey and the event she hosted last year, you can check out this blog.

Kasey also recently stopped into our office to review meals from our nutrition assistance program with Nutré meals. If you or a loved one is battling pancreatic cancer in any of these U.S. states (MA, NH, RI, CT, VT, ME, NY, NJ, or PA), Project Purple would love to help take care of meals for you and your family so you can focus on getting better. Kasey used a similar program when she was battling but loves the food we are providing with this new program and highly recommends it.
